My belief is that everyone deserves at least an hour (or two) of personal massage bodywork to get away from the everyday stress that life throws at us and I have the knowledge, experience, ability and strong hands to provide you with an amazing massage! I began as a licensed massage therapist 4 years ago in the St. Petersburg, Florida area because I felt the desire to be able to help people. I had received massages for years and understand the benefits from receiving a regular massage and how it impacted my life by reducing my stress level and relieved overworked muscle strain and tension. I have worked in a spa setting, as well as in a chiropractic setting for 2 years before branching out into my own massage practice.
My philosophy is that this is your massage and you deserve to get the most benefit out of it! Therefore, I believe communication is essential in that process. If the pressure needs to be adjusted, or there needs to be more focus in specific areas, I want you to feel comfortable enough to express this, so that each session is customized to your therapeutic needs!
I incorporate massage techniques such as deep tissue and relaxation massage into every session, as well as an extensive foot massage with hot towels, sugar scrub and Thai Foot Reflexology. If you're experiencing lower back issues, I suggest allowing me to provide you with Thai massage stretching that will aide in stretching the lower back and hamstrings.
