Suraiya Robinson is a mental health counseling intern with a focus in forensic psychology. Suraiya specializes in Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy and provides individual, family, and couples counseling and works with children and adolescents (6-18 years old) as well as adults. Suraiya specializes in trauma treatment, addictions, and behavior management therapy for children and adolescents.  She will be graduating from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology this December with a Master's in Forensic Psychology. She works with a broad range of diagnoses, such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, ADD, PTSD, and personality disorders most frequently. Behavior management therapy includes understanding the difference between right and wrong, natural consequences, listening and communication skills, as well as emotion regulation to decrease fits of tantrums.
