Changing how you feel, one muscle at a time

Having worked in the corporate environment for many years, I have gained personal knowledge regarding the stresses and physical impacts that sitting in front of a computer has on the human body.  My knowledge of workplace-related health issues include headaches, neck stiffness, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, and lower back pain.

Inspired by massage eliminating pain from my daughter's injury to her rotator cuff, I decided to change my career and focus on what I love most...educating people about their bodies to improve their quality of life.

I work with athletes recovering from injuries, tri-athletes preparing for a race, weekend warriors with acute or chronic muscle aches, office workers plagued by too much computer time, moms and dads needing some TLC and time out from their busy lives, students who are stressed and achy from too much studying, retirees keeping themselves active and healthy, workers who have physical jobs and are on their feet and in constant motion all day, anyone suffering from migraines and tension headaches and clients who understand that regular massage is as vital to their health and well-being as is exercise and eating a healthy diet.

Seeing a massage therapist in private practice, as an alternative to going to a spa or other large facility, has some wonderful advantages for you as a massage client.
  • The quality of work is generally higher. Therapists are under no pressure to "produce" a certain number of sessions, sell you products memberships, or do a certain "brand" of work. The focus is really just on giving you a great session.
  • Therapists in private practice can be more flexible in scheduling. There is more freedom to change schedules at will to suit client needs.
  • You can experience a greater sense of removal from everyday life. There are no other clients to bump into on the way to your session.  There are no phones ringing in the background.
  • Your session will be better tailored to you and your needs by your therapist being able to really listen to you rather then rushing you in and out of your session.
  • If you buy a 60-minute session, you get 60 minutes of hands-on massage, not 50.  There is extra time scheduled for your session so that we can review your specific needs and customize your massage.
If you find you're often disappointed with generic, spa massages, you may not be getting the individual care you need.  Every one of my massages is designed around your specific needs and goals.  I combine techniques from a few different modalities to create a treatment that is custom-made for you.  No cookie cutter massages here!  I am passionate about my work and excited to share my knowledge with you.
