About Us

My name is Cricket Degner, massage therapist extraordinaire! I specialize in pre/post-adjustment massage therapy located at the DeLoache Chiropractic Health Center. My primary philosophy within my practice is to listen to the client and to do my best to address their personal issues and needs. As a thirteen year massage therapist veteran, I feel that many people in this field choose to ignore what their client is telling them, and to me, the client knows what their body needs better than I ever could.

Beyond general relaxation and therapeutic massage, I also offer hot steamed towels and the aromatherapy of the day, which is included with any one hour massage. Come in on different days to get new aromas!

Each massage is tailored to the current needs of the client. Some of the techniques used are relaxation, therapeutic, sports, medical, aromatherapy, myofascial release, as well as trigger point.

Chair Massage

Chair Massage is performed in a specially designed chair with your clothes on. It is excellent as a pre-adjustment preparation before visiting the resident chiropractor, however it can be a standalone service. Please contact Doctor DeLoache's office if you wish to coordinate the chair massage with your adjustment appointment, at (281) 350-9811!

My name is Cricket Degner. Yes that is really my name, my parents were hippies. I have a massage therapy license as well as an instructor license.
I have thirteen years experience as a massage therapist, with several specialized hours of Continued Education. My personal practice philosophy, as you might have seen from the home page, is to LISTEN! It's served me well so far.
I became a massage therapist for a reason I'm sure many therapists also have, specifically to support myself. However, as time has gone on, I have felt throughout my experience with massage that a great deal of individuals, including myself, have experienced healing and a significantly increased quality of life. I personally have grown to feel a great deal of satisfaction in providing relief and help to those in need.
I am also a proud mother of two "grown" children, who still cause as much drama as they can! I love spending time with my dog, Amber, as well as dancing. I am an avid reader, and scrapbooker!
