In 16 years of practice, what fascinates most about this work is how something so seemingly simple as touch combined with movement can be effective in relieving many cases of muscular pain, anxiety, and stress.
The clients I work with, though they represent different career paths and hobbies, tend to have roughly the same aches, pains, and stresses in common. Muscular tension, joint stiffness, repetitive strain syndromes, and poor body posturing have become much more common ailments as a result of 21st century information/digital age technology and too much sitting.
Just to be clear, I don’t think that the technology itself is bad and that we should discard it. There are trade offs with most things in life. I do think however that we need to develop an in-depth awareness and understanding of these issues, how they can affect our health, and focus on practical interventions and prevention strategies.
My mission is to provide value to my clients through the use of evidenced-based massage and bodywork strategies combined with education as a conservative treatment option and prevention strategy for dealing with muscle pain and stress.

Mitchell is a great practitioner! He always takes time to understand what I'm coming in for (any pain or tension I'm having), and tailors each session to what I'm dealing at that time. Absolutely professional and thorough evaluation. His hands on treatment was form and beneficial. He was far more thorough than my chiropractor and took adequate time to evaluate how and why I may have back issues. He did not press on mumble jumble bs to try and get me to have multiple long term additional treatments though politely and realistically suggested following up and did offer me an appointment which I accepted. Post treatment I have experienced some relief after just 1 session and expect improvement as I have another in a few days. I highly recommend Robert.
