I enjoy the way Michelle gets rid of the nuts as I call them in my muscles. She seem to know when to push harder on them and when to go lighter... I have been going there for a month now. My back, legs and neck feel amazing

I've been going to lightning sports medicine for about 6 months now
My problem list is two pages long. Long story short I have been through several massage therapists and I can't even put Michelle in the same category because I actually feel closer to being pain free than I ever have in my life.

Michelle has such "intelligent hands." She can pinpoint problem areas easily and knows how to work them. Because of her varied background, she has a vast range of skills and modalities to draw on, and she likes to educate you as she works and give you things to help on your own.

I loved that Michelle was so knowledgable about the different muscles. I also really appreciated that she chatted with me throughout the massage. I prefer to have a conversation with my masseuse, but it is something that people should be aware of since everyone has their own preferences.

Michelle is very knowledgeable and explains to you as she finds issues during the massage as to why or to which the symptoms as well as ways to continue to treat the problem areas.

I have literally had hundreds of massage therapists and Michelle is the only one that has actually provided 100% relief of pain for my fibromyalgia and her sessions provide longer pain relief between visits. I wish there were 11 Stars. Five stars is not enough for Lightning sports medicine

I am a friendly person and don't mind chatting, but would have preferred some soft music and quiet time during the massage. Thought I could relax more if not trying to keep up a conversation. Nevertheless, I did enjoy the whole experience.

The first session is always and evaluation and assessment. Patient education is probably the most important part of the session. An adequate history is an essential piece to helping people achieve their goals. I am happy to work in silence on breathwork and meditation. Making a treatment plan requires conversation. Happy to do whatever I can to help you meet your individual needs. Please keep in mind that Lightning Sports Medicine is an Athletic Training practice not a spa.

My daughter said it was the best massage she ever had and actually felt blessed by the time she left. I would give Michelle a 5 star rating but it was very difficult booking/using Groupon; start time was changed by 15 minutes other than what was agreed on; location difficult to find and one found, access to waiting area was only through the kindness of a guy entering the gym with his keycode.

It was a great massage. Although the ambiance was nice (darkish and smelled good) it didn't feel particularly like a "spa experience". But that's a good thing! I ended up feeling very relaxed anyway and more like my physical issues were actually addressed than at any massage I've received elsewhere. Michelle also likes to talk a lot. At first I thought I wouldn't like that, but I ended up feeling very connected to her and even cried for a minute on my way home because it felt good to feel understood. I'm definitely going to make room in my schedule and budget for regular visits!
