I'm sorry you felt you might have been shorted time. I wish you had said something at the time of your appointment so we could have been on the same page about the length of the session, especially if you weren't absolutely sure whether or not the session was short, rather than waiting to post an anonymous review.
As I've already addressed on your previous review and also in discussion with you in person back in December: it is not at all practical given the scope and nature of our business to hire someone just to sit at a desk. Each practitioner is responsible for her own clients, which keeps costs low and keeps therapists independent. I am disappointed that despite giving 5 stars on every other element of this review you chose to give us a 4 star overall rating due to this one issue.
Would love to know exactly what you found lacking in the facility, so that we know if it's something that we can actually change or if we just simply did not meet your standards for what a massage office should look like. Cleanliness? Decor? We do our best to create a relaxing and professional environment, however there are some things about the building that are simply out of our control.
It was the air conditioner, and trust us, you would have been much less comfortable with it off. :)
We have added a sign at the front desk directing clients to our waiting room. We realize this is not ideal for everyone but since therapists rent their own space, take their own payments, and only schedule by appointment, it does not make financial or logistical sense to hire someone to sit at a desk all day.
We don't own the building so there's really nothing we can do about the traffic noise. Our location right on the highway makes us easy to find but the downside is that we get the roadside ambiance. We're sorry we don't have more control over this. :(
Thank you for your review. The last part of the treatment is a reflexology session. This differs from a traditional foot massage in that it specifically addresses blockages by using deep pressure to particular points on the foot. We apologize if that was not explained to you, but it is actually a part of the session and not a defect on the therapist's part.
Yes, the Add On treatments do not have additional time attached to them, they are included within the session time; this is just how our scheduling system is set up. Next time if you want extra time you can request an extra 15 minutes and we would be happy to add that on for you. Thanks for your review!
Our couples pricing is very clear, it is $55 for each appointment, and you are required to book 2 appointments. If you visit our website it is stated very clearly in black and white that the price for a couples massage is $110. Regarding the military discount, we do not apply it to group sessions because the prices are already discounted. Once again, we are sorry that we were unable to meet your expectations.
We discussed this issue when you told us about it upon arrival for your massage, so I am sorry that it still affected the whole experience of your massage. You left a detailed note when booking your appointment but did not request a phone conversation. We do try to be very accessible by both phone and email, so we are sorry that Melissa did not receive your message and respond to you. I hope we can do better in the future.

Thank you for your review! We do realize that we do get a lot of traffic noise coming in from Route 13. However, we also find that our location right on the highway is very easy for clients to find and is accessible from the main roads. Glad your experience with us was still a pleasant one!

We do not offer bottled water for a few reasons: Firstly, paper cups have a lesser environmental footprint than plastic bottles, and our cultural reliance on bottled water is not something that we want to support. We believe that filtered water is just as good for you and less wasteful. Also, room temperature water is more hydrating than cold water because it is easier for your body to metabolize. Hope this explanation was satisfactory!
Thank you for your feedback! You are correct, we are not a high-end spa. Our goal is to offer a variety of therapeutic and esthetic services from qualified professionals at reasonable prices. We feel that there are many places that you can go with fancy decor and high-end prices but that you will not experience the same level of customer service and skill as you do with us.
