I am a recent graduate of the Therapeutic Bodywork Learning Center in Brewer, Maine. I have come to Massage Therapy via business and culinary careers. Being able to serve people and improve your lives is what I am striving to accomplish. Through Therapeutic Massage,
Swedish Relaxation Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Myofascial Release, Hot Stone Massage, Craniosacral Therapy, compression, stretching, and energy work including Reiki, I will be providing my clients with customized care focusing on their issue at hand.
My focus for clientele will include but is not limited to service personnel including firefighters, police, EMS, doctors, nurses, medical staff, military, chefs, cooks, servers, and those people who put their bodies through vigorous or stressful situations on a daily basis. Teachers, teaching aids, bus drivers, custodial staff, any one working within the school systems and hospitals that could use the extra stress reduction and relaxation as well as muscle manipulation to ease the everyday pains of the job. Parents, who have the hardest jobs since they are not a 9-5 job and never ends, take that break and come get away for an hour or so.
The other side of my clientele will include those people who are dealing with issues stemming from PTSD, depression, anxiety, suicidal tendencies, or other mental conditions. Massage,
Crainiosacral Therapy and Reiki, combined with stretching and light work can provide some very needed stress relief for those individuals that have had traumatic situations in their lives.
I am located at 134 Water Street, Suite 3, Skowhegan, Maine. My studio is located on the corner of Court Street and Water St (Route 2) just down from the Strand Theater towards Route 2. Parking is just behind the studio, or you can park on the street or in the Municipal Parking off of the Rotary behind the Chamber of Commerce building.
Sessions are by appointment and can range from 30 to 120 minutes in length.
Be proactive with your personal health. Massage is very relaxing, but it is not only to relax. Everyone can benefit from massage in one way or another. Take some time for yourself and discover how you can improve your life's journey, one massage at a time.
I will also be offing weekend hours at the Sacred Core Wellness Center at 139 State Street in Bangor, ME starting in January 2018.
