I am the Co-owner of Bodhi Logic, and Massage Practitioner. In a past life, I worked in the Behavioral Health Field as a social worker. My job involved working with young men, of which all dealt with past traumas and a need for life skills. This led me to my interest in the treatment of an individuals trauma, and the different ways the system try and address the individual. I felt I could not treat the individual because there are limitations within the system I was working. So, I abandoned the system in search of a new system. Massage was something that I was already using in my everyday life to manage stress, and as a support to my workout routines. At the time, it was the first and only place I received non-sexual Tactile Touch. I built relationships with different practitioners with different specializations. I went through the process of receiving massage as a consumer. It was really a natural transition from Behavioral Health Services to Massage Therapy. It's in my nature to be of service to those around me and now that I am an LMP, it has given me the perfect system to work within to facilitate healing for individuals. Boundaries, healthy touch, support to an individuals lifestyle, communication, dialogue, community, healing, self-discovery. All things that we discover through massage.
