Amie believes that massage should feel ...
Amie believes that massage should feel good (relief) more than it feels bad ( extreme pain). Although some pain should be expected in some areas with therapeutic, deep tissue, and myofascial release sessions; it is only when necessary to successfully release muscle knots &/or tension, and as such, it should brief and result in a positive feeling of relief. Hot Stones and/or heat packs are used (no additional add on fee is assessed) with most massages unless contradicted.
With self care being a vital component to decreased pain and improved health, Amie is always happy to explain what she is doing, what causes or contributes to the problems you are experiencing, and most importantly she will share advice about how to correct the problem or at least know how to find relief from your pain through stretching and postural adjustments.
