Our body doesn't know the the difference between work deadline stress, being stuck in traffic or being chased by a bear. It learns to adapt to the stress by releasing hormones to combat it. Over time your body will give you signals that it needs to have more rest and digest time rather than being in fight or flight mode. You might notice pain and stiffness in joints, irritability, and lack of sleep creeping in.

She is methodical and precise with her work and takes her time, finding the areas that really need the work. While I thought my lower back was were I wanted her to focus, she quickly realized and adjusted to work on my upper back because it was the real source of my tension. What was absolutely amazing to me was that she managed to provide such a relaxing atmosphere that my mind, which constantly races with thoughts about business tasks, ideas, stress, etc. was muted. It shut off!! I have not had that amount of relaxation in a long time. In my book that is priceless. Already set up another appointment and I have made the decision to make it a regular occurrence and a major priority. Really can't recommend June enough!

June used a variety of techniques, including Reiki and hot and cold stones, to create 90 minutes of bliss. I loved how she used a heating pad on the parts of my body she was not actively working on to create a constant, full body experience. June was very personable and I was immediately at ease. The ambiance was relaxing with soft music and casual but stylish decor. June explained each step, knowing it was my first massage. She included the use of heated, weighted blankets, a salt lamp and fragrant but not overpowering oils. Her technique was excellent, the perfect blend of longer strokes and the exact amount of pressure. I live 2 hours away but will book with June again.

Last half hour was disappointing in that I felt like nothing was happening (though it was very relaxing) in that it the last 30 minutes was spent all on my feet and felt like my feet were just being held and she was taking a break. My first time visiting June and it will not be my last. June's office was not only professional but it was warm and inviting. There we large Himalayan Salt lamps, amethyst geodes and a fireplace with glowing led logs. I started to feel relaxed as soon as I walked in. I arrived a few minute early and June took me in and got started right away. She placed a weighted heat pad on one area as she worked on a different area. During the session she even incorporated some hot stone massage (which I had never had before and was awesome). Overall it was a fabulous experience and I highly recommend June's service.

The way I felt before I went in there was painful due to an injury last year. I had aches and pains in my shoulder and my neck.
