Sarah Hamilton, CMT founded this practice in 2010.
For her, Massage Therapy is the meditative practice of staying present o client’s needs. She has found other therapists that feel this way also to build a team of Healers to support the Noe Valley community.
Sarah Hamilton is on Maternity Leave from 6/10/19-12/10/19 and also practicing in Napa Part Time at her business Wine Country Mobile Massage.
Cara Kelsey, CMT and Nicholas "Rue" L'Heureux, Bodyworker are covering her practice of nine years and offering the same level of quality healing work for Noe Valley, San Francisco's Lotus Bearer Healing clientele in absence.
Sarah plans to return bi-monthly for weekends in San Francisco in December once Genevieve has taken to a bottle and her husband, Ian has a Fri-Sun free schedule to offer childcare support. #gratefulhealer
Cara Kelsey is a Certified Massage Therapist trained in a variety of modalities and techniques including
Lomi Lomi, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Shiatsu, and Prenatal . She graduated from National Holistic
Institute in 2010 and has continued to practice, love and learn more about massage ever since.
She loves creating and being in an environment where a client can step away from the
busyness of life and receive calm therapeutic touch. She uses a combination of techniques for a
deep, yet nurturing and relaxing massage. She likes to talk to clients about any expectations for
their massage session, as well as anything she may need to know about their bodies, in order to
formulate a massage specifically to meet their needs. She uses her growing knowledge of
anatomy and assessment strategies to customize these sessions. She believes that massage
can be therapeutic and relieve tension while being an energetic experience. Her massage style reflects that
and can be very specific to target certain muscles or broad for a full body relaxation but always
maintains a flow, connection and a grounding presence.
Nicholas "Rue" L'Heureux was trained at the World School of Massage and Holistic Healing Arts in San Francisco. The school was everything he was looking for and provided a holistic approach to healing that went far beyond the classroom. The World School taught me many tools of body work such as Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue, Lymphatic, CranioSacral, Structural Foot Balancing, and Vibration Healing Massage Therapy. I have combined these techniques with my background in music and art to create personalized sessions that listen to each individuals’ body and mind to discover the root of their needs. With empathy, love, and compassion, I am happy to co-create an environment in which I may help facilitate the reconnection that people need, to their natural self.
Sarah Hamilon, CMT graduated from the National Holistic Institute in 2010 with training in the Western and Eastern modalities of Massage Therapy.
She can feel changes in the client’s body: the warmth of their tissues as blood circulation increases, the external tissues start to become more malleable, and the muscles beneath begin to lengthen.
Her focus is on the long term benefits of deeper tissue manipulations so that the clients achieve not only relaxation while on the table, but continue to feel the results.
She also can offer spiritual aspects if that is desired and appreciated in the form of energy work and guided meditations, but stay grounded in the physical and measurable results of the bodywork.
I have Level I and Level II training of Reiki and have experience in many types of meditative practices, such as Metta (loving kindness) meditation.
Lastly, she is certified in Manual Lymphatic Drainage.
