Relax...it's a word we all love to use but we have such a hard time achieving in today's world. Its not uncommon for the stress of the day to build up in your muscles (i.e. your back, neck, shoulders, etc).

Massage therapy has been a long standing method that increases general wellness through relaxation and therapeutic work of muscular tissue. Not only does it feel great but it keeps the muscles, fascia, and joints all in good working order. As stated in a massage research study on chronic tension headaches, "...muscle specific massage therapy technique...has the potential to be a functional, non-pharmacological intervention for reducing the incidence of chronic tension headache," (Quinn, 2002).

I have currently been practicing massage therapy for over 4 years and have certifications in deep tissue work, cranial sacral therapy, neuromuscular therapy, in addition to working towards my national licensure in orthopedic massage. I have worked in many diverse settings for massage therapy; however, I enjoy the therapeutic work the most. I am also a recent graduate of The University of Incarnate Word with my bachelor's degree in Nutrition Science.

I look forward to meeting each new client and helping them achieve their wellness goals. smile

Leah is knowledgeable, professional, and just darn right very good at what she does. Shec cares, she asks questions, and her goal is to make each client feel special and better. I wouldn't go anywhere else, and I recommend her without question.
