Every individual comes to the massage table with their own unique needs, goals and desires. It is my role to help assess what those are and then create a massage session to best help achieve them.
I offer massages in a variety of categories. Swedish Relacation. Therapeutic/Deep Tissue. Sports. Meditative. These categories give me a starting off point for what you are seeking, but every session is customized and catered specifically for you.
I strive to create a caring and compassionate space for everyone. I welcome and respect people of all races, religions, nationalities, sexual identities, genders & body shapes and sizes
I am also a yoga instructor, which greatly influences my work and allows me to set-up stretch routines for clients who want them for between our sessions...

Michael is simply the most professional and skilled massage therapist ever! He took the time to really get to know and understand the few problematic areas/issues that I have and dealt with them straightaway. He is also skilled in the art of yoga and was able to give me some helpful stretching exercises to take with me to help deal with some of my range of motion and a hip issue that I have been struggling with. Best session ever!

Michael really listened. My previous massage therapists asked what areas I wanted them to focus on, but then did their standard massage. Michael focused on the areas I asked for and checked in regularly to make sure I was comfotable.

Michael saved me! I was pretty much incapacitated with lower back pain and sciatica, to the point where I had missed three days of work. I can be super sensitive and have had plenty of massages in the past that were just too much, leaving me worse off than before. Michael knew exactly the right amount of pressure to apply and where, and checked in with me frequently to make sure I was ok. His studio is a lovely loft with gorgeous light and great ambiance. After the massage was finished Michael went over a few stretches with me that I can do at home. I left feeling so much better, and I was back to work the next day ready to rock & roll!

There wasn't a thing about my massage experience that wasn't enjoyable. Michael is a very qualified and professional therapist. Developing an acquaintance with ones own body takes a lifetime. A massage therapist also will develop a knowledge of a patient's muscular/skeletal systems and it's needs. I plan on returning when I can. Michael is extremely pleasant.
