My passion is the need to help people, which prompted me to pursue a career in massage therapy. I graduated from the Finger Lakes School of Massage and have 2,500 hours of hands on experience in the field. In addition, I incorporate relaxation massage with myofascial release, deep tissue work, and trigger point therapy. Combining these different techniques makes for a relaxing, yet effective massage in relieving tight muscles from everyday use or injuries from overuse. My approach to treatment involves a full intake assessment to identify any conditions so that I am better equipped to treat clients specific needs. I strongly believe in preventative maintenance; assessing and treating the body to identify problem areas to avoid injury and degeneration. I've been her client for some time now and every time I'm massaged, she's totally committed to improve all of the stressed, aching and tense areas that I indicate to her in our initial minutes prior to the massage. She's encouraging and very helpful with suggestions of possible maintenance techniques, When and if asked.
