Kelly Anne Akuffo, a graduate of Cortiva Institute in 2009 is a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT), a member of the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP), and a certified member of the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB).

In 2013, Kelly enhanced her professional skills by attending the National College of Naprapathic Medicine where she is pursuing a Doctorate in Naprapathy. As she puts it, “I truly believe massage and manipulation enhances the body’s natural functioning, improves circulation, and promotes well-being.”
Kelly has worked within corporate settings providing massage therapy to clients throughout Chicago and surrounding suburbs. In February 2015, the first privately owned wellness studio opened in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago, “The Remedy Wellness Studio”, where Kelly provides therapeutic massage in the form of pain relief for specific ailments, relaxation, deep tissue, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, pregnancy, sports, stretching and range of motion. Kelly encourages healthy living through her donations with Bank of America Marathons, Homeless Shelters, Religious Organizations, and Schools, and contributes towards many Fundraisers.

Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Massage was amazing and I left feeling so refreshed and relaxed. Everyone was very friendly and I wouldn’t hesitate to go back and recommend.

Going there every month has made me feel better. I no longer have pain in my shoulders and neck area. She is awesome at what she does and will ask if I need a certain area worked on the most. She always makes the office relaxing and enjoyable. Would not change a thing.

Pressure was good. At some points the pace of the massage was too fast. It wasn't so much relaxing as intense, sometimes.
