Orthopedic Massage

The orthopedic massage session is 100% customized to the individual. The 90 minutes is broken into a 15 minute assessment and 75 minute manual therapy session. The assessment will focus on past/current injuries, locating problem areas that cause pain, and finding restrictions that limit range of motion. The manual therapy session includes a combination of massage modalities that will be used to treat muscle and soft tissue surrounding joints.

Thai Yoga Massage

Thai yoga bodywork is a form of therapeutic touch where the practitioner uses dynamic stretching, pulling & rocking techniques to relieve tension, promote relaxation, and improve flexibility and circulation. Compression is applied along energy lines of the body, informed by Traditional Chinese & Thai Medicine. Please wear loose, comfortable clothing that you can easily move in. This bodywork technique is typically done on a mat on the floor or a low massage table.

Assisted Stretching

You will be fully clothed during these sessions, preferably in athletic wear. Assisted stretching is a unique style of bodywork that will improve range of motion, help prevent injury, get rid of general aches and pains, increase blood flow to the muscles, and help you relax. Assisted stretching is done on the massage table. Your therapist will use specific myo-fascial techniques, positions, and stretches to address any areas of tightness.

9 years ago, massage helped me manage and eliminate chronic neck and back pain I'd developed from working at a desk for 40+ hours a week. I experienced, firsthand, the difference massage can make physically and emotionally. I then decided that I wanted to help give that experience to others.
I graduated from the Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage where I studied different modalities including, but not limited to, Swedish, and Treatment-Based massage. All things to do with the human body fascinates me and inspires me to help others. I am always looking to further my knowledge in things that I am passionate about.
