I received my first massage in 2012 and was instantly hooked. From then on, I started receiving monthly massages as I found it to be a form of relief from chronic back pain from sitting at a desk for 8 hours each day. In 2014 I was ready for a career change and I started looking into massage therapy as I loved the idea of helping people like me (stressed out and overworked). In June 2015 I took a leap of faith and quit my job and decided to enroll in massage school full time. In June 2016, I graduated from Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage and I have not looked back since.
I’ve been a resident of Rochester, NY since May, 2005. I grew up in Grand Rapids, MI and after graduating High School I moved to Cleveland, TN to attend Lee University. I received my Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration in December 2002. Traveling and exploring new places is something I love to do. During my time at Lee, I traveled to North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Georgia, Virginia, Texas, and Louisiana. I even had the opportunity to travel to Poltava, Ukraine for 3 weeks during the summer of 2002. Along with traveling, I enjoy scrapbooking, crafting, reading, and cooking.
My modalities include, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Pregnancy, and Hot Stone Massage. I also offer Salt and Sugar Scrub for hands and feet along with Aromatherapy for optimal relaxation and a spa like experience.

Stopped by April for my first massage here in New York as I am a new resident and she did GREAT! I definitely needed some stress from the big move worked out in my back and she did exactly that. Her office is very relaxed and comfortable and i felt as home here. I do recommend April for any and all massage needs :D

I have been going to April for about 7 months now. When I first started my back was sooo tense and painful! it has improved a lot since then and I am much more comfortable. I appreciate April's fair rates that allow me to get massages regularly. It is my favorite self care activity! loved the extra 15 minute free add on for my Birthday month!
