I began my career as a massage therapist in 2002, after my initial training in Mendocino County, California. I received the bulk of my education at The Sedona School of Massage in Arizona, focusing on Swedish Massage, Structural Bodywork, Myofacial Techniques, and energy work including CranioSacral Therapy, Shiatsu, and Polarity Therapy.
Since moving to Raleigh, North Carolina in 2005, I have focused on building a private practice focused on Women's Health issues. I have studied with Claire Marie Miller, one of the top educators for Fertility, Prenatal, and Postpartum massage, and am a Certified Nurturing the Mother® Specialist in all three modalities. I have also studied LaStone® Therapy, the original technique utilizing hot stones; Massage Cupping, and many other massage techniques.
My lifelong interest in healthy and wellbeing drives my desire to support other women on their path to wellness, and I enjoy sharing what I have learned with others.
In my free time, I can be found with my band participating in community events, making aromatherapy products for a small charitable business, creating art, or dancing spontaneously to music in many locations, including my kitchen where I enjoy cooking yummy vegetarian delights. hide
