At Altura College our mission is to provide an academic standard and engaging environment that promote excellence in education, professional achievement, and individual growth.

Altura College’s Massage Therapy Program is a comprehensive hands-on and lecture based educational experience. Our students become proficient in Swedish techniques and study a variety of other manual therapy techniques. They gain communication skills and professional experience in their student clinic shifts.

The objective of our massage therapy program is to provide an excellent education that will prepare the student to pass the Massage and Bodywork Licensing Examination (MBLEx) and then receive their Washington and/or Idaho State massage license.

I started Massage school in 2018 at Cortiva Institute and was there for 8 months before my school closed down permanently. Altura College has given me another chance to finish out my dream in Massage Therapy.
I strive to provide positive touch, a friendly attitude, and a good dialogue of communication with my clients; to produce a well-rounded therapeutic relationship and treatment plan. I believe in working with my clients to create a treatment that best suits their needs.
In my massage, I enjoy working with Swedish and Myofascial Release modalities to reduce pain, increase range of motion, and a feeling of relaxation.

I have spent my entire adult life as a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) and figured it was time for a change. I also suffer from fibromyalgia, back and hip pain/issues.
