At Altura College our mission is to provide an academic standard and engaging environment that promote excellence in education, professional achievement, and individual growth.

Altura College’s Massage Therapy Program is a comprehensive hands-on and lecture based educational experience. Our students become proficient in Swedish techniques and study a variety of other manual therapy techniques. They gain communication skills and professional experience in their student clinic shifts.

The objective of our massage therapy program is to provide an excellent education that will prepare the student to pass the Massage and Bodywork Licensing Examination (MBLEx) and then receive their Washington and/or Idaho State massage license.

Our program will allow our students to grow individually and achieve professionally in their schooling and on into the professional avenues they choose.

Massage therapy is a versatile profession that can allow a therapist to practice in various locations including spas and resorts, chiropractic offices, physical therapy offices, airports, on-site corporations, group massage clinics, and private practice. Whether the therapist chooses to focus their career on relaxation or rehabilitation, they will change the lives of others for the better. A career that continually influences peoples’ lives for the better is a fulfilling career.
