I believe that all change begins with the healing of self. As we heal ourselves, we heal the people and environments around us. Unfortunately, healing and self care have become a luxury and not a necessity. We budget our time and resources to other people and responsibilities first and receive whatever is leftover for ourselves. What would happen if we flipped that on its head? How would your life change if you were able to honor your body and energy first?
I have chosen a sliding scale pricing structure for all of my services in hope that bodywork can become a more accessible tool for self care and healing. Murielle is a miracle worker! Seriously, no one like her! I’ve worked in heavy manual labor construction for 10 years and have been through a significant amount of massage therapists and chiropractors throughout that time. I can easily say none of their work compares to Murielle’s work. Truly a blessing to my life!

Murielle has an inviting studio and does a great job taking the time to listen and go over the session allowing one to get comfortable. The pressure applied to tender areas was spot on as well as the focus to troubled locations. I was left feeling rejuvenated, relaxed, and recovered. Overall a wonderful massage.

What a refreshing treatment Murielle offered. Her massage combined deeper, more focused work to treat back spasm pain and leg issues with an attentive, relaxing overall approach. I’d also booked the massage as an opportunity to slow down and zone out, so I appreciated that Murielle didn’t sacrifice the relaxation element of the massage as she treated the specific concerns that prompted me to book an appointment and even caught some areas of pain and resistance I’d been neglecting but hadn’t realized were bothering me. None of the treatment aspects of the massage diminished Murielle’s chill, welcoming demeanor or the sense of relaxation I felt after the massage. I also appreciated the suggestions she offered me for stretches I could do after the visit to continue to care for myself. I look forward to booking another appointment.

Murielle really listened to how I described my problem areas and took the time to understand them by asking helpful questions. I felt like I was really aligned with her going into the session. I suffer from dissociative anxiety and being in a physical and “vulnerable” state can be difficult. It’s really wonderful to have found a skilled practitioner that made me feel instantly at ease, so much so that I was able to relax and benefit from the bodywork. I need to be comfortable and trusting of how someone moves the energy around in my body and Murielle is definitely someone who knows how to instill those feelings right off the bat.
