Tammy McEwen is a massage therapist dedicated to helping others achieve wellness and eliminate their pain. Massage therapy has been one of the major factors in improving her own health. She was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia 14 years ago. This diagnosis inspired her to find answers about managing her condition and she has made it her mission to help others by sharing the information she has found. Tammy completed her massage therapy training at Manatee Technical Institute in Lakewood Ranch, Fl. Upon graduation she began training in Myofascial Triggerpoint Therapy and how to treat Fibromyalgia with massage therapy. She continued her education by pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Psychology where she studied research on Fibromyalgia. Through making healthy lifestyle changes she has learned to overcome her illness and helping others to manage or overcome it has been one of her main concerns. She also successfully treats many other chronic pain conditions with massage therapy. Sciatica, frozen shoulder, scoliosis, migraines, TMJ, Parkinson's disease, MS, tennis elbow, and golfer's elbow are just a few of the conditions. With her understanding of how pain can affect the body on a physical, psychological, an emotional level, she is dedicated to treating the body, mind, and spirit.
