Our concept at Inner Balance is to strive to affect the health, well-being, and connectedness of our community, through Therapeutic Massage. We truly believe that when the pain is diminished and when people feel better, they treat each other better. By using our hearts, hands, and ears as constant assessment tools, we make sure every massage session is unique, purposeful, and specific to the needs of each individual on each given day. Our clients are listened to.
Michele M. Miller, OT, LMT is a graduate of Towson State University (1996) with a Summa Cum Laude Bachelor's of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy. I like the quite atmosphere. Michele listens and if you have any areas that need more focus she is great on working those areas. I had a shoulder that was catching and she was able to help be get it to STAY in place after a few sessions. Also, a great source of good nutrition info, too!

She is always learning new techniques, and really custom tailoring the massage to whatever is going particularly that day with various tensions or imbalances. I always leave feeling greatly restored. Michelle has done an excellent job with alleviating my lower back and hip pain. I can now do some poses, including sitting cross legged in yoga class that I was unable to do before. Her massage studio is tranquil and eases the mind and the body! I would highly recommend her 1 - 1.5 hours massage as there are no kinks left at the end of the session! My body actually feels like it is breathing and flowing again.

Michele displayed professionalism during the entire time. She had me fill out the appropriate paper work, discussed with me what brought me to massage therapy, and worked my sore muscles for at least an hour. I have not had a massage for at least 10 years. Her techniques appeared to b estate-of-the-art. She came highly recommended. I would return to her however I live so far away and my commute is over 80 miles roundtrip.
