It was early 1998 and I was working as a camera assistant in the independent film industry in New York City. The film industry was rapidly changing and I knew I needed to find a new career path.
Years prior, I had taken a massage therapy course in Philadelphia, but chose to pursue my interest in film instead.
So one day during meditation, it hit me, "I ought to go back to massage therapy!"
I enrolled at the Swedish Institute, the oldest massage therapy school in the country. My education there was extensive and fascinating, with a strong focus on Sports & Medical massage.
I graduated at the end of 2009, but had already moved back to Philadelphia.
I have since worked for chiropractors, spas & fitness facilities. In 2004 I went out on my own and opened my own massage studio, Raised By Wolves Bodywork in the Society Hill/South Street area of Philadelphia.
While my business was well regarded and successful, I decided to move back to New York for love.
I am now working out of my home office in the Upper west side of Manhattan and also offer out-call (massage in your own home if you have your own table.)
