Jackie is incredible. I have been seeing her for various regions of my body for several years. My job is very physically demanding and takes its toll on me. She keeps me able to work and function. She has helped me with severe wrist and arm pain. I had to work with a brace for the longest time and since working with Jackie, I have not used the brace once. She has helped me with severe ankle and knee pain as well. Her massages are the only treatment that has helped. She has also helped me after a severe injury to my coccyx. I received a medical massage for a stiff neck/frozen shoulder from a vacation injury a month or so prior. Jackie is gifted! She is not just any massage therapist, she’s a healer. She will touch your body, talk to it, and literally heal you. My story. I had a fall when I was 15, crushing 3 vertebrae. I thought I healed properly but my 30yr old body disagrees. I loved the gym but several injuries stopped me from continuing my fitness journey. Years later with tons of physical therapists, chiropractors, osteopaths, massage therapists, spine, hip, and shoulder specialists, there were no answers. Doctors want to diagnose something ridiculous and give meds to mask the pain instead of fixing the root cause! 2 sessions in with Jackie and she already started relieving my pain. Jackie does a phenomenal job of teaching me about my body and what she is doing to heal me. 6 sessions in and I can now sleep through the night without pain. The tightness and the swelling, GONE! Jacqueline is not a masseuse, this is not a spa massage experience. It is however the most effective therapeutic experience - life changing! During the first 5 minutes I wondered to myself “what is she doing and is this a total waste of time?” By about 15 minutes in, I became aware that my excruciating shoulder pain was melting away. After literally months of agony, she was releasing points that I didn’t even know existed. I gained range of motion, function and most of all the pain subsided more with each visit. I can’t really explain how she does it, nor do I need to know. I recommend her to every person that will listen long enough.

I cannot speak highly enough about Holden Hands Massage in Pawcatuck, CT. For several years, I have suffered with pain in my lower back due to slight scoliosis, hips due to arthritis, and myofascial pain in my neck and shoulders. I had been dealing with increasing pain in my back and arm for about 5 days before i reached out to Holden Hands Massage. At that point in time, I was in severe pain. I was able to get an appointment right away. Jacqueline was extremely professional, asked a lot of questions, and exhibited a great understanding of the human anatomy and how our bodies function. She was able to relief much of my pain during the first visit, but was cautious enough to eliminate any further inflammation by overworking any areas. Prior to my appointment, i was unable to use the computer, and combing my hair or applying makeup was painful. Post-massage, i have followed Jacqueline's suggestions, and am feeling more relief each day. i will definitely return.
