I have invested my full attention on being the best healer you will ever experience. I started with an education in conventional exercise science and sport performance enhancement psychology. Those are all fancy terms for I got a degree in helping people perform at their peak mentally and physically. After graduating with honors from Iowa State University I was unsure about going on to become an orthopedic surgeon so I went to explore the holistic paradigm.
I came across Traditional Chinese Medicine and felt that I had found the first medical science that actually held up to western physics, chemistry, and biological sciences without contradicting any of the known scientific laws of the universe. Basically, these ancient people had mastered the art of health and passed it down for thousands of years. Even though modern western science had only begun to see the eternal wisdom inherent in the ancient traditions I was able to see the value of seeing things from this more advanced philosophical standpoint.
Previously, in my former training, philosophy and principles did not matter. What mattered in school was the answers. The facts. The science. The things we could prove and measure.
Traditional Chinese Medicine school taught me the principles of life and how nature works. As much as my heart resonated with those ancient truths, I felt that as a Tibetan-Style healer I would probably NOT be too appreciated by the average American health consumer. As a result I went to become a Chiropractor.
I never grew up going to the Chiropractor. I never dreamt of being a Chiropractor. I didn't really even know what a Chiropractor was. But I also didn't know why Acupuncture was welcomed right into the American Sick-Care system much more than Chiropractic which was re-founded in the USA in 1895. An American healing art was tossed aside as a Chinese art was more accepted!
I had to know more about why Chiropractic was being suppressed.
I started at Chiropractic College in 2003 and realized my life's calling. I learned the ancient ways of "feeling" where pain lies and combined that the modern scientific knowledge afforded to Chiropractors.
That's what I hear again and again. I see what this does to a body, and it isn't a good thing.
I am a re-set button.
I'll get your "old" self back in your body and your mind. I know where to find the kid in you. I know how to remove layers of tension and stress, how to take you from tight to "alright!", how to get you breathing deeply and openly again.
Holding your breath right now? Then you're worse off than I thought - come right on in! hide
