Take care of yourself

I am a natural caregiver. I started my life career as a licensed vet tech, taking care of sick animals and educating owners about how to prevent their pets from getting sick. This job was my passion! I realized that I was getting older and should maybe think about a career change. One day I went to get a massage. Working as a vet tech was very hectic and sometimes emotionally draining. When I received this massage I observed how relaxing and quiet the environment was (compared to my vet tech life! ha). I have always been interested in natural remedies, aromatherapy oils, etc. I decided to give the massage career a chance. I graduated from Omaha School of Massage and Healthcare in 2012 and I'll be honest, the first couple of years of working as a massage therapist was just not working out for me. I couldn't find my niche'. So I continued with my first passion, vet tech. Just recently, I have refocused myself into massage. Even though I sadly gave up my vet tech career, that recent change has been so rewarding! I feel more connected with my clients' needs and what massage can do for them! I have learned to "listen" to what their bodies need and how to give them the best massage possible that is catered to exactly what they need. I am  ready to focus my time and energy into my clients to give them comfort and peace from whatever is troubling them and bringing them to me! I focus mostly on deep tissue therapy and I'm also learning trigger point therapy, but I am also available for a nice, relaxing swedish massage. I am also trying to refocus on my Reiki and Reflexology modalities!

I had a wonderful massage with Kristi. She took her time and was very thorough. One of the best massages I’ve had. I highly recommend her. Go for the 90 minute, 60 minutes just isn’t enough time!
