Life is a Journey, Enjoy the Ride!

When I started massage therapy school in 1996 I was looking for a way to provide a personal as well as professional service for people that would be comforting, encouraging, and pain free. I have worked in the medical field as a medical assistant, radiographer ,and a radiation therapist so helping people is what I have been doing all of my adult life. Massage seemed to be a natural extension of my work and a way to offer me independence. I love helping people and making them feel good mentall...

I love helping people and making them feel good mentally. physically, and spiritually.  When the client and I tune in to the work, the results are fantastic and very rewarding for both of us.  That is how I describe success. I am a life-long learner and massage offers multiple modalities, workshops, and opportunities to learn and to teach.

Other

In 1997, right after I graduated from massage school I started teaching at the Omaha School of Massage. I taught Anatomy and Physiology and Hydrotherapy classes. I taught off and on at the school part-time and full-time until March, 2016. I received the "Teacher of the Year" award in 2014. I also opened my own massage and spa place in Logan, IA called the Comfort Zone Therapeutic Massage & Day Spa in 1997. I continued my practice in Logan until 2001 when we moved back to Omaha. I still had the Comfort Zone and practiced massage and spa service in Omaha until 2014. Due to the amount of time I was spending at my full-time teaching job, I no longer had time to devote to my practice. Now I am starting over with a new name and plenty of time to devote to what I love to do.
