She is passionately dedicated and committed to her clients' health and overall well being. With over 15 years of experience, Michelle has worked countless on-site events, such as providing massage backstage to the RiverDance Troupe and post-event sports massage at Richmond's highly popular Monument Avenue 10K. She was a massage therapy instructor for 3 years and has built her own massage therapy private practice from the ground up! She graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1999 with a Sociology degree and then completed her massage therapy training at American Institute of Massage in 2003. She has advanced training in several areas; She is a Certified Medical Massage Practitioner, Nurturing the Mother Certified Prenatal Therapist and Certified Infant Massage Instructor.  She is also a wife, busy mom of three beautiful children and is driven to provide a special and unique place for her clients to heal.

Michelle, Thank you for one of the best massages that I’ve ever had in my life. It’s funny how going into the session I was doubtful of the effectiveness of your style. But the facts speak for themselves. You created an atmosphere that put me at ease, you took the time to get to know me. (I never would’ve imagined that would bee important.) And you said the exact words that struck the deepest cord in me, “Let someone take care of you.” I didn’t realize before that moment, with your words reverberating through my head how alone I’ve been. It’s crazy because I’m surrounded by people every day, but still very alone. Taking care of everyone else out of necessity as well as my nature. So much to my surprise that I couldn’t stop my eyes from leaking. I realized when you massaged me that I haven’t really been touched with tenderness in years. It’s a very disarming realization that a stranger provided a safe net for me to fall when I’ve been drowning for so long. So thank you again for the profound moment that will most likely never occur again in that very way. I’ll cherish it! T

Michelle is AMAZING! She has been practicing her craft for many years and this is evident in her knowledge of the body and her skillful hands. But that is only half of the equation. Her ability to create a calm, safe place for her clients is truly a gift. This stems from Michelle's empathetic nature and her ability to actively listen to her clients' needs. The sum of that equation flows right through her hands onto your body and it's WONDERFUL!
