I’ve spent a great deal of time doing “stupid human tricks” that took a toll on my body: I’m a former U.S Navy Chief Petty Officer that spent 13 years hand-loading bombs on the flight decks of Aircraft Carriers. I’ve run marathons. I STILL Powerlift and toss around heavy objects for fun.
I understand athletes and weekend warriors because I am one.
After the military, I ran my own personal training business for 5 years, but felt that something was missing. My clients were incredibly strong, but still suffered pain and movement issues, and so did I! Massage and bodywork simply weren’t something a “macho” military veteran took seriously, but after a particularly bad hip injury, I was willing to try anything…
And I was hooked!
Massage and bodywork turned out to be the missing ingredient in my performance and wellbeing. I didn’t have to suffer through the pain anymore to perform, and this was something I needed to share.
I attended Pacific College or Health Sciences in New York City and graduated with honors. Heck, I even served as their Director of Clinical Services for a few years before deciding that I needed to launch a full-time practice in order to best serve Brooklyn.
When I’m not working on my amazing clients, you can find me picking up and putting down heavy objects, drinking entirely too much coffee and bourbon (but not together) and playing video games. I also do a lot of work with local dog rescues, as my partner and I have a very soft spot for Pitbulls and other “Bully” breeds.
Please feel free to contact me. I would love to connect with you!
