Nancy has been a practicing health care professional for over thirty years as a Registered Nurse. She is a graduate of Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy, Licensed Massage Therapist, and Certified Member of the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals. Her bodywork modalities include classic Western (Swedish) massage, deep-tissue massage, trigger-point massage, sports massage, aromatherapy, and acupressure.
Since moving to the Northwest Hills of Connecticut over twenty years ago, Nancy has worked in various nursing positions including as a nurse manager, telemetry nurse, and as an emergency room nurse for over fifteen years with Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. Her transition to becoming a massage therapist is part of her journey towards truly becoming a wellness provider in addition to an acute care provider. Her experience working with thousands of patients has helped to develop her insight and understanding of her client’s needs for relaxation and healing.
Nancy is an avid gardener and thrives on being outdoors tending her vegetable, herb, and flower gardens and collecting fresh eggs from her small flock of feathered velociraptors. She continues to expand her studies of massage modalities as well as her interests in aromatherapy, natural herbal medicine, and yoga.
