Inspired by watching her stepmother utilize massage to provide relief for patients with chronic pain, Ayala opened her first massage practice, ‘Roadrunner Massage’, when she was just 10 years old. Years later she committed to the art of massage by enrolling in the Davis Massage Therapy Institute. She has developed a practice that offers healing and pain relief.
Drawing from multiple techniques, Ayala will create the perfect massage for you. She tailors each session to the individual needs using a deep, thorough and intuitive style.
Ayala discovered colon hydrotherapy while exploring her own health. She had been a passionate learner about nutrition and healthy life choices, when friends invited her to join them on a cleansing retreat in San Diego. After an intensive week-long cleanse which included three colonics, raw food, and more wheatgrass than she had consumed in her entire life, Ayala felt ecstatic, full of energy and healthier than she could ever remember feeling. From there it was an obvious next step, to continue her education ad learn how to help others feel this good.
As a healer and a dancer, Ayala is in awe of the human body and all that it does for us every day, without our even thinking about it. It gives her great joy to assist this incredible process in any way she can.
Ayala graduated from the Davis Massage Therapy Institute in 2007, followed by a B.A from San Francisco State University in Integral Studies and Holistic Health. She studied colon hydrotherapy at the American Institute of Natural Health in 2013. It a dream come true for her to be able to share this knowledge at her wellness center here in Nevada City. hide
