Kerrie attended The New York College of Health Professions to obtain an Associate Degree of Occupational Studies, with a major in Medical Massage Therapy in pursuit of her second career. In 1994, NYCHP then invited Ms. Flynn to teach and develop curricula in the health sciences and business programs till 2004. Kerrie was member of Sport Massage Team at the 2004 Olympics’ Summer Games in Athens Greece. She worked with the world’s most elite athletes and alongside the most prestigious medical staff. Professional American Sports organizations employed Kerrie as a Sports Massage Therapist: NBA-New York Knicks, Women's Tennis Association-US Open, PGA-US Open and The Athletic Congress Track-n-Field. She has won numerous awards for her professional service and leadership in this field. Kerrie always maintains her private practice since 1991 of Flexibility & Sports Massage in Long Island and NYC. She loves her personal practice of yoga since childhood and has been certified and registered to teach Hatha & Vinyasa Yoga since 2007. In 2013, she returned to teach as a professor at The Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, where she created and supervised the externship Dance Massage Clinic in collaboration with the Joffrey Ballet School in NYC. Anatomy Teacher and Kinetic Studies at the Joffrey Ballet School NYC. Dance Massage Clinic is a program providing massage therapy by the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine Massage Therapy Department Interns. This clinical program encouraged the dancers to explore their own anatomy for muscular imbalances thereby empowering them to correct alignment. This program helped to proactively prevent injury for dancers and teach massage interns the skills and compassion necessary to support dancers thru their healing processes.
