My practice is based on the belief that when people feel better they do better. It is my mission to help people optimize their health utilizing massage, herbalism, meditation, nutrition, and other Vitalist Practices. It all began after eight years as a stay at home mom, when I decided to put my degree in Political Science to good use and become a massage therapist. Today I have a rewarding private practice in Mullen, Nebraska and volunteer as a staff herbalist at the Wild Roots People's Clinic in Omaha, Nebraska. It has been an exciting and rewarding adventure.

I graduated from The Universal College of Healing Arts in 2015 and opened Sandhills Horizon Massage and Botanicals that summer. To keep life interesting in the beautiful but isolated Sandhills of Nebraska, I followed my growing fascination with plant medicine, and began Rosemary Gladstar’s Science and Art of Herbalism home study program shortly after graduating massage school. My independent studies were supplemented by a year of monthly classes lead by Registered Herbalist Kate Boddman, AHG and I completed both in 2017. 

Constantly working to expand my massage and herbal skills keeps me engaged in my practice and relevant! In 2019 I received specialized training in Japan Sen Herbal Thai Massage. Sharing my love of plant medicine feels like a calling in our sleepy little village, and I began making remedies for clients and doing herbal consults in 2017. You are never done learning in the field of herbalism, and I completed  the Herbal Academy's Advanced Herbal Course in 2020. In 2023 I completed training at the Acorn School of Herbal Medicine as a student of Heather Luna and Paul Bergner in their program, Advanced Herbalism in the Vitalist Tradition. I am currently enrolled in Acorn's Clinical Roundtable Program, where I see clients and review cases with my esteemed mentors and cohort. I teach classes locally geared towards making herbalism accessible to everyone; and work with clients individually to meet their health goals. I believe blending bodywork, herbalism, mindfulness practices, and nutrition can create benefits that surpass any modality alone; all shine as tools to optimize wellbeing and enhance health.
