What exactly are the benefits of receiving massage or bodywork treatments?
Massage and Bodywork is useful for all of the conditions listed below and more,
• Alleviate low-back pain and improve range of motion.
• Assist with shorter, easier labor for expectant mothers and shorten maternity hospital stays.
• Ease medication dependence.
• Enhance immunity by stimulating lymph flow—the body’s natural defense system.
• Exercise and stretch weak, tight, or atrophied muscles.
• Help athletes of any level prepare for, and recover from, strenuous workouts.
• Improve the condition of the body’s largest organ—the skin.
• Increase joint flexibility.
• Lessen depression and anxiety.
• Promote tissue regeneration, reducing scar tissue and stretch marks.
• Pump oxygen and nutrients into tissues and vital organs, improving circulation.
• Reduce postsurgery adhesions and swelling.
• Reduce spasms and cramping.
• Relax and soften injured, tired, and overused muscles.
• Release endorphins—amino acids that work as the body’s natural painkiller.
• Relieve migraine pain.
During your first visit the therapist will draw out a treatment plan which will conform to your individual needs and will outline a course of treatment.
• Initial Assessment
During your initial assessment we will evaluate the best course of treatment to maximize the benefits of your sessions.
• Targeted Interventions
Once the massage therapist has assessed your needs, the focus of the treatments will be to restore as much of the normal function as possible.
Every three sessions the effectiveness of the treatments will be reassessed to insure the maximum beneficial effects of each session.
Payments can be made in check or cash immediately after the session has ended.
Tips are welcomed but not expected by the therapist.
In case of difficulties in keeping your appointment we follow the following guidelines:
A 24-hour notice is required for cancellation of an appointment, or you will be charged in full for the appointment. Payment is due before your next appointment.
Appointment times are as scheduled and cannot extend beyond the stated time to accommodate late arrivals. Please be on time to your appointment.
Massage/bodywork is not appropriate care for infectious or contagious illness. Please cancel your appointment as soon as you are aware of an infectious or contagious condition. If it is within the 24-hour notice period, the cancellation fee may be waived.

Any illicit or sexually suggestive remarks or advances made by the client will result in immediate termination of the session.
