She also wanted a job that would keep her constantly learning. In the time that she has been practicing she has been given countless opportunities to satisfy both wishes. She has had opportunity to work with special needs and geriatric clients, professional athletes, body builders, pre-natal and infant massage and everyday athletes of today’s work force. She has added to her learning with certification courses in Kinesio Taping and Medical Massage. She also recently returned from studying abroad in Costa Rica at the Costa Rica School of Massage Therapy were she added to her training with Hydrotherapy, Thai and Myofascial modalities. Along with all this, Ellen has worked has an assistant teacher to the Therapeutic Massage program at South Piedmont Community College. Helping to instruct others in her passion gave her a love for teaching. She has found that massage therapy not only benefits the lives of her clients, but also the therapist as well.

REVIEWS for my Spa or Bodywork services

My massage was fantastic. I did not want to get up off of the table. I felt like cooked spaghetti for several hours. I will be back again.

Ellen, is an extremely talented therapist that has the ability to work with athletes and dancers and figure out what exactly their personal bodies need to work through. I can feel my body healing with each session. As a dancer, she is a must-see, if looking for a massage therapist.

I've been seeing Ellen for a long time for massage therapy. She is excellent! She knows exactly what my needs are, always asks if the pressure is comfortable, and I leave with much less pain. I have no complaints but only praise for Ellen. I am glad she is at Massage at Monroe. Thanks, Ellen.
