I believe that massage is an important part of  health maintenance and to keep the body and mind functionally optimally. I specialize in working with clients who experience pain in their necks or backs. Often the culprit is a muscular imbalance brought on by an injury, poor posture, or too much time sitting.

I help relax tired, overstressed muscles that are pulling bones out of alignment and bring them back to a more natural, healthy and flexible state.

A great experience from start to finish. The space was clean, peaceful, and thoughtfully designed for relaxation. I first saw Joann for therapeutic massage after a 2013 auto collision and subsequent surgery. I continued seeing her intermittently to alleviate pain related to Rheumatoid Arthritis. Yesterday I went in for debilitating pain related to neck muscle tightness/knots/spasms that remained unresolved over four days of treatment with prescribed muscle relaxers, pain medication and medical treatment/observation. The massage was exceedingly painful at times, and sore afterwards. But this morning I have substantially increased range of motion (60°-70° left to right/80% up and down) with VERY LITTLE (comparatively insignificant) discomfort or pain. I recommend Joann’s services the highest.

Joann did a wonderful job. I felt safe and calm in the space she has created. I have had neck pain for almost 20 years. Joann did an amazing job working out the tightness. This is the best my neck has felt in..well almost 20 years. I recommend her to anyone who shows interest in deep tissue work.
