Welcome! I am Derek Johnson-Dean. I started Relax Renew Massage & Wellness in the Whittier neighborhood in South Minneapolis in 2012, so I am thrilled to now offer Sports and Therapeutic massage services at Los Campeones, also in Whittier. I’ve been a practicing massage therapist since 2007.  In 2012, I completed a certification in Holistic Nutritional Coaching and Massage Therapy Certification at St. Paul College. The Certified Massage Therapy (CMT) program focused on Clinical Sports and Therapeutic Massage.

I have had a headache for over 3-weeks. I have been given steroids, muscle relaxers, heavy duty allergy and pain meds. Nothing has worked until Derek. He was very responsive to how my body was reacting. I feel much better and am going back. I feel safe and confident about his studio too with his Covid 19 protocols.

I’ve worked with Derek for many years now. I feel very engaged with his work with me and he is very responsive to my needs and requests. He also takes very extensive precautions regarding COVID and is very serious about it. His home studio is not a spa experience, but clean and comfortable.
