About Us

Star is a Nationally Certified Massage & Bodywork Therapist (LMBT) and Energy Healer in the Minneapolis area. She specializes in trauma recovery bodywork and therapeutic/rehabilitative massage & bodywork.   
Over the past twelve years, she has studied various forms of Massage & Bodywork, Energy Healing and Somatic Healing. 
Recently, Star has been focusing her career on clients who have suffered from various trauma, specific injuries and chronic pain. She has treated various conditions including sports related injuries, repetitive stress injuries, pain and tension related to disc problems, chronic pain, and various other musculoskeletal related conditions with or without known causes. She's very intuitive to your healing process and I haven't felt this good in years. She incorporates insight, experience, and creativity from many areas of western and eastern therapeutic healing philosophies. As a Mental Health Practitioner, I've recommended her to colleagues and clients alike. And she always does more than what is expected whether it be a bit extra time with the massage, listening to my stress symptoms, using imagery, physical therapy, heated stones or towels, crystals, evidence based research theories and techniques or whatever may seem right for the moment. I'm so grateful to have met her. She really is amazing.

Star was vary kind & considerate of my condition/pain Seems to be vary knowledgeable on deep tissue complications. The fee$ did not quite match the office space or meet the expectations I had for the session.

Susan's manner is quiet and attentive. and she is a good communicator.. As a result of a previous series (3-4) of treatments to my right leg, I was able to hike in the Andes pain-free. So I have returned to her now for difficulties I am having with my left.

Star has been my bodyworker for almost 2 years now and I trust very few others. She has a very intuitive style and can be both gentle and relaxing as well as deep and thorough. She has relieved so many aches and pains over the years, I don't know what I would do without her. She is one of the real deals. She's not going to "rattle off names of muscle groups" as she heals you. That's not her thing. If you want that, go elsewhere, she knows the kinesiology intuitively. You'll see. It works.
