Using a holistic approach that combines gentle and pain free acupuncture with herbal and dietary therapies to stimulate and support the natural healing mechanisms within the body, Daniel will work with you to effectively treat both chronic and acute conditions that are often unsuccessfully or only partially addressed by Western medicine.
Daniel specializes in treating chronic and acute pain including:
~low back pain
Daniel will gladly cooperate with your primary care physicians to decrease or phase-out pharmaceutical medications for many conditions. With all patients, he works toward not only relief from symptoms but achieving an overall balance and healthy longevity.
Daniel's own experience with acupuncture and herbalism began when, somewhat skeptically, he sought treatment for a knee injury from martial arts. The day after his first treatment, the swelling was gone, and the pain disappeared shortly afterward. It worked so well that he decided to learn more about this powerful medicine. Having always felt an affinity with the natural world, Daniel was impressed to discover that the majority of Chinese medicine is based upon close observation of nature. It was then that he decided to dedicate himself to learning, practicing, and helping as many people as possible with acupuncture and herbs. Daniel studied at Yo San University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Los Angeles and Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, Colorado. He has had a thriving clinical practice since graduating in 2007, in North Platte, Nebraska, and Portland, Oregon, where he has treated and healed patients of a wide variety of health concerns, from acne to automobile injuries.
Daniel's other passions include yoga, shamanic and Buddhist meditation, exploring the outdoors, snowboarding, basketball, and skateboarding. On the weekends you might find him exploring a beautiful Pacific Northwest trail or beach. Daniel looks forward to meeting you and helping you maximize you vitality and well-being so that you may fully enjoy your passions! hide
