I signed up for a 90 minute massage from Rebecca Anderson, LMT. She was very polite and a very good massage technician. It was 50 minutes in when she let slip, in casual conversation that she hadn't gotten any vaccine, AND she had been infected twice, even alleging she had the D variant in June. She felt she was safe and not a threat. This is a woman who does NOT understand how a person can by asymptomatic and infect others. I ended the session right there, paid her in full, although I clearly didn't receive the benefit of the bargain and I am very angry and upset that any business that dealt with personal services and a lot of time in close proximity would be so callous and ignorant that they'd happily risk infecting an elderly customer. That's a bad business plan because I won't go back there and I've been telling everybody I know in Boise and Meridan about what a horrible person she was for not disclosing and letting me make an informed decision. Frankly, I think that business should be taken to task by the medical authorities for hiring a Covid spreader. Shame on whoever runs Comforts of Home, because you sure didn't provide and comfort or benefit to me.

I thought Becca was really great! I felt she did a good job of addressing the areas of discomfort I had. Made me feel very comfortable. Overall the facility felt a little dark and outdated. I think it could use redecorating, some lighter spa colors perhaps and better lighting in the halls and bathroom. Disposable towels vs one cloth hand towel for sure. I also think during covid it’s nice to use sheets on the massage table that are cleaned in between each patient. Also a disposable cover on the headrest. It was a very peaceful experience otherwise.
