At Elemental Therapies it is all about you, Everybody is different, every massage is different. Using a variety of methods that can include: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Assisted Stretching, Myofascial Release, Neuromuscular Reeducation, and/or Reiki, Gerry will customize a massage session based on the needs and goals of a client at that particular time. VacuTherapies provide a gentle approach to many common conditions and quickly produce results that are often remarkable. The tools are simple vacuum "cups" that are used to create a soothing suction on the surface of the body that reaches deep into the tissues. Reiki uses a technique commonly called palm or hands on healing. Through the use of this technique, practitioners transfer universal energy (i.e., reiki) in the form of qi (Japanese: ki) through the palms. In my experience I have found massage to be one of the most effective therapies for providing balance, health and well being to the client. I do not believe in the phrase "no pain, no gain". My focus is to coax your muscles into relaxation. Relaxed muscles are happy muscles that are ready to heal and restore balance.
I believe communication is the key to a successful massage session. I take time to thoroughly assess what your needs and desires are for the massage outcome. I encourage feed back during the session to assure that the pressure and techniques of the massage are appropriate and that you remain comfortable through the entire process.
My passion is my profession in helping people relax and restore health. I have been practicing and teaching holistic therapies since 1997 starting with the natural healing technique of Reiki. My experiences with Reiki were so profound and fulfilling, I chose to make a full time profession of helping others by becoming certified to practice massage therapy in 2001.
Healing is about restoring balance to the mind, body, and spirit. That is the foundation of holistic, complimentary therapies and the approach I take in my craft. I feel the most important quality a therapist can have is the ability to really listen and empathize with clients to understand what they are experiencing and what they need from their therapeutic session. I strive to understand what my client's needs and desires are at the beginning of each session and tailor the techniques I use to achieve my client's goals that can include: relaxation, pain relief, maximizing wellness and/or enhancing physical performance.

Her natural empathy and caring for others shine through in her work. Now she is using those same talents providing massage on a part time basis. Her forte’ is Swedish relaxation massage. Nichole has been receiving regular massage for years and personally knows the benefits of a regular massage program and wants to share that with others. does your massage oil contain tea tree oil? skin was a bit itchy before i got home, but a shower took care of it. have not had a headache since massage - definitely helped!

Gerry listened to what I said was ailing me and applied perfect pressure as I requested. He does not cut your time short, where you are supposed to get a 60-minute but it turns out to be only 50-55 minutes.

I suffer from cronic pain due to fibromyalgia and mold exposure. This can make it difficult for me to enjoy a massage. However, Gerry manages to be very effective without causing me pain.
