WHAT IS MASSAGELAB?
We are an established professional massage studio with close ties to the San Francisco School of Massage & Bodywork, San Francisco's vanguard massage school, in operation since 1969. Bolstered by the immense popularity of the school's long-standing student massage clinic, it became necessary to open a professional space to better serve the SF community its bodywork needs. MassageLab is located right in the heart of the San Francisco Mission District and is 100% owned, operated, and staffed by talented and experienced Certified Massage Therapists. Our goal is to ensure that every guest who comes through our doors receives high-quality therapeutic massage and positive results.

I can really point out if the provider is from SFSM vs other school. I asked for a deep tissue, it was badly executed. It’s more of a Swedish massage. I’ve been worked by a practitioner coming from his school. Same process, never came back. Sorry but I’m just being straightforward. I told him to take classes at SFSM. Good luck!
