Feel more like the self YOU want to be!

One of my teachers at Esalen said: "One way to think of what we do is that we put our heart in our hands and lead or follow them around the table."  I follow her guidance in this, and I have come to rely on my hands as extensions of my heart.  Through my hands, my heart listens to the needs of my clients, and from my heart I bring the skills of my training and experience to support the client's healing process.  Working in this way is intuitive with a clinical integrity that is respectful of ...

Working in this way is intuitive with a clinical integrity that is respectful of the client as healer. Yes, the client is the true healer, and it is essential for me, as a therapist to recognize and honor that fact.  With that acceptance in place, amazing improvement may occur (I still hear a voice from long ago - Moshe Feldenkrais - saying "all we are looking for is a little improvement").  My clients feel in my touch a healing intention, a presence with them in the moment, a generous respect. Together, we work toward a common goal, expressed by another teacher of mine - Hugh Milne - as "a clear head, an open heart, in a body free from pain."

Whether you come to me after great recent or stored trauma (one client was run over by a truck, many have experienced and survived terrible child, spousal, or other abuse, some bring grief from the death of spouse, parent, child or close friend); after the traumas of surgery or childbirth; after a crushing disappointment in love or work; because of the overwhelming ongoing strains of work, family, moving; or just because you feel it's time to treat yourself to a massage, we will craft a session or sessions together that address what you need.
It is a truism that healing begins the moment you schedule an appointment.   Why not now?
