What can I say about Randy? Love him. So outgoing, personable, knows what I need and understanding. It's almost like he is family. LOL
I have been going here for quite some time (a few years). He has been nothing but nice to me. He has been the only person that I have been booked with for some unknown reason. Some things happened in my life that I was unable to continue going. So now I am no longer able to get him as I always did. But hey that's ok. The students do a perfect job as well.

I knew Randy practiced using a more specialized form of massage therapy called "Cranio-Sacral" and also that he had many years of experience. I'd just taken some classes about this kind of massage therapy, and was curious to experience a full session from a trained practitioner. Massage therapist seemed less experienced. Good massage in terms of movements and finding trigger points. Pressure was very light - felt more relaxing than therapeutic. Draping wasn't as tight as other students. Did not bolster my knees and feet at the same time as other students, seemed to only remember late in the message. Very nice, professional, and timely. Just needs more pressure, tighter draping around legs, and to remember to bolster to improve comfort. Thank you!

This school is amazing. They really turn out great therapists and I'm basing that from being a client here for a number of years. The staff is friendly and efficient and does a great job with special requests and booking. The instructors obviously do an excellent job of preparing the students to do client work and have asked for feedback in different situations. The only thing that I disliked was that I didn't think it was appropriate to ask for a tip for students. I have been to other massage schools and they do not allow for tipping of students. It is awkward to be prompted to tip. I think this should be reconsidered.

The therapist should not start off by saying what they won’t do. He said he didn’t do face or feet. Full body means full body. That started my massage off negatively. Had he asked me my preferences that would have been better. Could have been a better flow. Otherwise the massage was good.

I wasn't sure what to expect when we drove up to Mind/Body Connection and saw it was in a strip mall. It didn't seem like a relaxing setting at all. But, from the moment we stepped over the threshold, we were greeted by warm smiles, soft voices, and a very relaxing atmosphere. Admittedly we chose Mind/Body Connection as a last resort, because we couldn't find anyone that openings for a couple on such short notice. I am so glad that we were able to get in. I was a bit nervous once I found out our LMT's were male, as I had only ever had massages from female LMT's. Boy, was I wrong to be nervous. My husband and I both received the best massages we had ever had. Randy & Billy were amazing! They listened to what our problem areas were and made sure to focus on those spots. Thank you for fitting us in!!! We are excited to come back next time we are in town.

My only critique is with the online booking process and the fact that it asks me to call to book a 90 minute appointment. I will never do that, because I almost always book after hours. I've been coming here for years and used to always book 90 minutes until this change happened.
Also I love that you are finally asking for feedback about the students! When I used to visit the other student massage school in Nashville many years ago, this was always part of the learning process that I thought was so helpful for them, and a real missed opportunity for you! Really glad to see this change!

The environment and volume levels are great. I just wish there was a way to muffle conversations with my LMT during the massage. I wanted to discuss matters, but it was very evident the people outside could hear us talking. Perhaps white noise generators to sound-proof the rooms. It would provide more privacy.

I'm am never disappointed in the MBI facility. I love the treatment rooms they are not too dark but just right for those with vision difficulties. The restrooms are clean and large enough to move around. The hallway has local artists featured and there are even some brands of Vegan lotions for retail. Glad I found this calming spot!
