Kate, 41, has been involved in bodywork since 2005 when some very talented massage therapists, energy workers and healers helped her on her personal journey. Massage, Craniosacral Therapy, Hypnosis, and Energy Work have been a part of her life since then. This was through personal study, workshops, conferences and working with a mentor, Susan Harding. In 2018 went to school at Cortiva Institute in Salt Lake City and started working in the massage industry at Knead a Massage in Park City and Salt Lake City, UT. Here she completed extra courses in prenatal massage, lymphatic drainage, structural documentation and assessment. She took and passed the Massage & Bodywork Licensing Examination (MBLEx) in 2019 and is licensed in the stated of Utah. In December 2019 she opened L Spa Services (DBA) Better Bodywork in Lyman, WY.
As an athlete herself she loves working with athletes. She is also talented in Somatic Emotional Release which has been very helpful and therapeutic to her clients. She loves working with clients who have chronic pain and believes that chronic holding patterns and gaurding almost always accompany chronic pain.
She is married to an amazing man, Jason, and has two sons (both naturally birthed) and one step-son and one step-daughter. She is passionate about health in body, mind and spirit and truly believes that the three must be addressed in regard to pain, especially chronic pain. She also teaches the Better Bodywork Education Series classes in Lyman, WY.

She gives an amazing relaxing or deep tissue massage. She is especially compassionate and has a tender touch for pregnant mommas.
