Jorden is one of the best professional LMTs I've ever come across. Many LMT's I've used in the past don't understand the anatomy of the body well enough to be efficient in their work, or lack the strength that Jorden has. I have dealt with mechanical lumbar pain for over half my life at this point, and I felt so alleviated after my session with Jorden. Jorden also made me realize that I need to be giving more attention to my abdominal muscles and less to my back. I don't think I would have come to this conclusion without her feedback and expertise. Jordan was amazing! Highly recommend her for prenatal massage. I usually get a 60min to test out therapists I’ve never used before and I wish I’d done 90min. She was able to find the knots in spots I didn’t realize were there and the ones I identified as well. Her space was soothing and the table’s adjustment for a pregnant belly was perfect. The experience exceeded my expectations. The moment I walked into the room I felt the peaceful energy. The table was so comfortable, (I've experienced back pain on other tables), sheets were luxurious. During the massage I felt well cared for, able to let go of a lot of stress and tension. It was also informative as Jorden worked on some areas that I didn't even know were tight. Afterwards she showed me a practice I can do at home to relieve a particularly challenging area. Excellent experience and I look forward to returning!

I had my first massage at Of The Valley Wellness. I booked it somewhat impulsively the night before because my neck and shoulder tension was becoming unbearable. I had a Swedish massage with Gretchen. It was the best massage I have ever had! From the moment I arrived Gretchen was incredibly welcoming and concerned with my needs and wants of the service. I have never had a massage therapist sit down with me before a service. I was able to explain to her in detail my areas of tension. She asked me about previous massage experiences.. what I liked and may not have liked about those. She provided me options and explained a bit how they could benefit me. Gretchen made my experience so relaxing while also providing relief to the tension. She is easy to communicate with. She checked in with me at appropriate times without taking me out of the relaxing experience. The facility was incredibly clean. I have had a lot of great massages in Louisville and around the world, but I have found my local massage therapist. Do yourself a favor and book with Gretchen.
