Hello! I'm Chantél Martin, LMT and owner of Massage by Chantél. Here at my business, it is my goal to ensure you the optimal massage experience. Whether you come for pain management, or simply for a moment to relax, it is my hope that you walk away feeling renewed, refreshed, and better than when you walked through my door.

I started massage therapy school after deciding that I wanted a career I could believe in and be good at, instead of just working a normal job. At heart, I am an artist, enjoying music and drawing, but those are difficult to make a living at. Someone recommended that I look into massage therapy, so I did. Shortly thereafter, the opportunity presented itself to enroll in Texas Massage Academy.

While in school, I found that I enjoy this practice even more than I had imagined. I discovered that massage came naturally to me, much like the arts I enjoy, and that in a way, massage therapy is an art in itself, as well as a science. I found that massaging other people can be just as relaxing and therapeutic for me as it is for them. And of course, the joy of making clients feel relieved and at peace is extremely rewarding. I could not have asked for a better career, and I am very thankful that this opportunity was given to me.

I have been licensed as a massage therapist in the state of Texas since April of 2015. I specialize in relaxation, deep tissue, and trigger point massage. I graduated top of my class, with honors, from Texas Massage Academy in Brownwood, Texas, after completing a 570 hour program. Of those hours, 120 were dedicated to an internship that provided plenty of work experience. I am also an active member of the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP).
