Michelle Barefield is the sole owner of My Therapy by Michelle LLC. Michelle has 8 years as a Licensed Massage Therapist. Michelle received training at Miller Motte Technical School Columbus Georgia. Michelle continues to gain knowledge in continued education classes to better serve her clients. Message therapist was extremely rude, confrontational and lacked professionalism. I was delayed 5mins due to traffic, she said massage will be only for the remaining time which is understandable but her tone was extremely rude. I tried to let go but she was slamming doors and drawers. I was shocked by her behavior and as I was trying to process what’s going on, she asked why am I rolling my eyes which I wasn’t but she looked like she is ready to start a fight.. I tried to make small talk thinking she may calm down but she continued her rude behavior saying she was reading to leave since she has been here since 9am and I showed up. If she was tired she shouldn’t have scheduled me. In 15 years of getting massages, she has been my worst experience due to her attitude. You go for massage to relax but the entire time I was trying to manage her mood and she continued to stay rude. I got this Groupon due to good reviews.. but it seems this therapist is quite racist and treats people differently based on their ethnicity.

Apparently the many massages you had were not professional or licensed. It is important to follow the massage therapist instruction just as it is important for the therapist to listen to your needs. You received a hot stone massage you left a $10 tip and took a nap. I am not everyone's therapist Thank goodness
